On The Town Knitting Bags
So, you might remember my recent post about the little knitting bag I made. I posted the pix on the KnittingHelp.com forum that I frequent and within two days, I had 17 orders. *blink*
Yeah. I was quite surprised.
I’ve since filled all of those orders and there’s still a bit of a waiting list for new orders. Starting now, I’m taking new orders for my little “On The Town Knitting Bag”. I’ll take just 20 orders before Christmas. I think that’s all I can manage and still get them delivered by Christmas. I make these all by my lonesome (well, the cats help.. or hinder.. or something), but for the most part, I make them by myself. Each one takes a fair bit of time due to the details I put into them.
They’re fully lined on the inside with satin, and have 3 little inside pockets, an outside pocket, and adjustable wrist/belt loop strap, yarn guide loop AND a little matching mini draw string pouch for small goodies. It’s the perfect size for a small knitting project, and is fancy enough to take anywhere. Fabrics are brocades, taffetas and satins. Read what others have said about them here!
Here’s a couple of them. Click here to see them all.
The price is $30 for one, $40 for two of the same color, or $50 for two of different colors. (Plus shipping.)
If you would like one, or have a knitter on your Christmas list, email me asap with your 1st and 2nd color choice. (See my email link to the right.) Like I said, I’m only taking 20 orders. Updated: I’ll take more than 20, I’m doing pretty well getting these made fairly quickly!!
I’m not doing this to get rich, but you will help me buy some neato Christmas gifts for my family. And yarn. For me. Hee!

Well Missy,
Those are beautiful!!!!!!!! And since you’re not doing it to get rich… how about selling the pattern. Or like the rest of these people do… sell the pattern and material in a kit to make the bag.
I’m sure that will keep you a steady stream of change through out the year.
Even if you don’t sell the pattern to the masses… I would like to buy one. Please let me buy one!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks,
Thomasean
Those are so cute Kristin! I don’t want to stress you out before Christmas, but it you’re still making them in January I’d like to get two of them. If you go shopping for fabric keep me in mind…I LOVE brocades
